3.1. Qualifications

The qualifications of the teaching staff are questioned through the scores given within the criteria of appointment, reappointment and promotion. These scores also take into account the scientific studies of the teaching staff. The guidelines and regulations regarding appointment are stated below;

3.2. Qualification Measurements

– The qualification of academic and research staff is monitored through performance evaluations of teaching, projects and other activities.

– Criteria such as projects, original publications, books, etc., and the number of papers published during the year are taken into consideration,

– The qualification of the research staff is measured and evaluated through publications, presentations and projects.

3.3. Facilities and Supports

The development and improvement of the competence of the research staff is supported through projects supported by our University's Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Fund and funds provided by Bilecik Eskişehir Bursa Development Agency (BEBKA).

3.3.1. Physical, Technological and Financial

Financial support for research opportunities is provided by the University administration.

3.3.2. Laboratories

Our department has a computer laboratory with a capacity of 40 people. Technical maintenance and repair of computers is supported by the University Information Technology Department.

In the scientific research carried out by our department, support is provided within the framework of ethical values by the Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Ethics Committee.

In order to continue the professional development of the teaching staff and improve their teaching skills, our University has a Coordination Office for Supporting Scientists (BIDEK) and a Coordination Office for Supporting Scientific Research. Academic staff are particularly encouraged to publish and participate in national and international conferences in order to develop their competencies. With the Directive on Preparation, Evaluation and Implementation of Scientific Research Projects prepared by Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, the participation of all academic staff is ensured and new publications are encouraged. Within the scope of Erasmus teaching mobility, it is aimed to help academic staff and technical staff reach suitable opportunities for education and on-the-job experience.

3.4.1. Decision Methods

The level of achievement of the research staff in these competencies is evaluated by analyzing the academic staff's reappointment periods and activity reports. The criteria specified in the following guidelines are taken into consideration when making decisions;

Incentive measurements are carried out in scientific activity reports using the scoring system determined by the relevant regulations.
