1.1. Program Design

The academic boards of the department make departmental board decisions regarding updating of the curriculum with participation of academic staff and faculty members every April.

1.1.1. Assurance

In order to ensure commitments regarding educational objectives and learning outcomes of the programs at our university, up-to-date information regarding the objectives and learning outcomes of each course within the scope of the Bologna Process is available on our program website.

1.2. Stakeholder Participation

1.2.1. Reflections

Within the scope of TYYÇ and Bologna process, course programs are designed by associating them with undergraduate program qualifications and learning outcomes. Once a year in April, an evaluation meeting is held with the teaching staff and program qualifications are reviewed.

1.2.2. Information

Information about course outcomes and exams are shared on the program website and in the student information system message management.

1.3 Activities

Students are assessed with activities such as homework and projects so that they can gain responsibility and responsibility while gaining theoretical knowledge, and students are actively involved in the implementation of the programs. In order to provide students with research competence and professional competence, Scientific Research Methods course, KOSGEB Applications Entrepreneurship Education course, Tourism Seminars course and Tourism Management Graduation Thesis are given. In addition, students are given oral presentations and written assignments in various courses in the program.

1.4 Internal-External Sharing

The website, e-mails, message management via Student Information System and Electronic Information Management System (EBYS) are used for information regarding student-focused education and training activities. All internal correspondence is made via EBYS.

1.5 Output and Türkiye Higher Edudcation Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) Compliance

Within the scope of TYYÇ compliance, our department supports faculty members to be student-focused and encourage students to take elective courses. Our program courses have ECTS values compatible with the Bologna process. These values can be accessed at http://bologna.bilecik.edu.tr.

1.6 Application/Field Studies

Tourism Management Undergraduate Program requires a 60-day compulsory internship. Students can complete this compulsory internship in Turkey or abroad.
