Monitoring and Improving the Unit's Research Performance

4.1. Performance

Performance indicators are monitored and evaluated periodically with monitoring and evaluation forms. Annual activity reports of academic staff are received regularly. Based on these reports, academic performance data of researchers and departments are measured and evaluated.

4.2. Publications

The adequacy of research performance in achieving the institution's goals is reviewed with the performance indicator in the strategic plans. The annual activity reports submitted by the faculty members are kept in the archives by the faculty secretariat.

4.3. Ranking Method

In our country, the contribution of universities to the regional, national and world economy is generally measured by the ranking systems QS, Times Higher Educaton URAP etc. In addition, contributions are made with the number of students and graduates, university, public and industrial projects and intellectual property rights. Our university is not yet on this list.

4.3.1. Contribution Adequacy

The department’s contribution to the regional, national and global economy is measured each year by scanning articles and projects addressed to our university and belonging to our department's academic staff.

4.4. Ranking Degree

The ranking system looks at the ranking and compilation results of evaluation organizations that investigate the institution's contribution to the regional, national and world economy. The department's ranking is attempted to be increased with scientific research, articles and projects produced by the department.
