Mission, Vision, Values and Goals

Strategic Plan of Tourism Management Program of Faculty of Applied Sciences for the periond 2017-2021;

  • To examine scientific activities,
  • Determining the mission, vision and core values,
  • Conducting corporate SWOT analysis,
  • Establishing strategic goals and performance indicators concerning program of Tourism Management based on results obtained from the analysis,
  • Designing action plans to ensure realization of the goals,
  • Monitoring and evaluating performance of the academic staff,
  • Increasing the quality of education and service by interacting with internal and external stakeholders,
  • Providing internship and job opportunities to students through collaborations,
  • It aims to improve the quality of education and training systems through scientific research and to make social contributions in line with the objectives of the program.

1.2. Mission

Our mission is to produce academic knowledge through scientific and sectoral research, and to contribute to social, cultural and economic development of the region by developing regional tourism activities in Bilecik province.

1.3. Vision

Our vision is to be one of the leading educational institutions among the departments that are active in the field of tourism at the national level, to be in constant cooperation with sector stakeholders in Bilecik province, and being preferred by students with its innovative and investigative education approach.

1.5. Goals

Our aim is to raise individuals who can meet needs of  public and private sectors in tourism industry, who know at least two foreign languages, one of which is very good, who have a good command of general business information as well as basic tourism theory and knowledge, who have managerial qualities, who have communication skills and questioning thinking, who are prone to teamwork, who are socially responsible and environmentally sensitive, and who are successful in human relations.
