The conference on ‘Human Rights’ organised by the Governorship of Bilecik and our University within the scope of Human Rights and Democracy Week was held on Tuesday, 10 December at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall.
Bilecik Deputy Governor Akgün Corav, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yurdakul, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yurdakul, Secretary General Muhammet Büyük, POMEM Director Suat Günbey, provincial protocol, academicians, Police Vocational School students, and many students attended the conference.
In the event, important topics on human rights were discussed by our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty Members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Özden Cankara and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Cankara. The presentations on ‘Human Rights’, ‘Historical Development of the Concept of Human Rights’ and ‘European Court of Human Rights’ provided participants with a comprehensive perspective on the theoretical and practical dimensions of human rights.
