Prof. Dr. Nazile URAL

Born in 1977 in Germany, she completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Bozüyük district of Bilecik. In 1999, she graduated from Sakarya University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering as a Civil Engineer. In 2001, she completed her master's degree at Anadolu University, Institute of Science and Technology and in 2008, she completed her doctorate at Sakarya University, Institute of Science and Technology. She was appointed to Anadolu University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Civil Engineering in 2001, Sakarya University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering as Research Assistant in 2002, Sakarya University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering as Assistant Professor in 2008, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering as Assistant Professor in 2009, Associate Professor in 2015 and Professor in 2021.2009-2011 She served as Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Engineering, Vice Dean between 2013-2016, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Institute of Science and Engineering, Deputy Director between 2013-2016, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering between 2015-2019, Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Pazaryeri Vocational School Director between 2021-2024. Since 2016, she has been working as the Head of the Geotechnical Department of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering. She has published many national and international academic articles in the field of geotechnics and has worked as a researcher and executive in scientific projects. She is married and has 2 daughters.

Prof. Dr. Murat YURDAKUL

He was born in 1976 in Seferihisar, Izmir. In 1999, he completed his undergraduate education at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Mining Engineering, and in 2003, he completed his master's degree at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Mining Management. In 2009, Prof. Dr. Murat YURDAKUL received his PhD degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Mining Management, and in 2016, he received the title of associate professor in the Department of Mining Engineering, Basic Field of Engineering. In 1999, he started his academic life as a research assistant at Anadolu University and in 2017, he was appointed as an associate professor at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Jewelry and Jewelry Design. Between 2010 and 2012, he worked and studied at Iowa State University (Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering) in artificial neural networks and natural stone cutability. He Respectively served in 2007-2010 Anadolu University Bozüyük Vocational School, Head of the Marble Technologies Program, Head of the Department of Environmental Protection and Control Program, in 2010-2014 Bozüyük Vocational School Vice Principal, 2014-2017 Bozüyük Vocational School Director, in 2017-2024 (ongoing) Head of Department of Jewelry and Jewelry Design, in 2020-2024 School of Foreign Languages Director, in 2021-2024 Natural Stone Technologies Application and Research Center Director. He has many nationally and internationally published articles, papers presented at international congresses, and research projects on cutability, processing, and exploration of natural stone (marble, travertine, granite, etc.). He has received awards, applied works, and jury memberships in various fine arts and design competitions related to natural stones and architectural applications. He is married and has a daughter.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet KURBAN

He was born in Erzurum in 1969. He completed his primary education at Erzurum Kültür Kurumu Primary School, his secondary education at Bilecik Ertuğrul Gazi High School Middle School and his high school education at İzmit Private Seymen High School. In 1991, he graduated from I.T.U. Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Department of Electrical Engineering and received his master's degree (1994) and doctorate (2001) from I.T.U. Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Programme. From 1993 to 1994, he worked as an Electrical Maintenance and Repair Supervisor at Bilecik Arslan Alimünyum Industry and Trade Limited Company. From 1995 to 2001, he worked as a Research Assistant at I.T.Ü. Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Installations. In 2002, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Anadolu University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and served as Head of the Department of Electrical electrical facilities.In 2010, he commenced his position as an Associate Professor at Bilecik University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and was subsequently promoted to Professor in 2015. He has held several senior positions at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, including Dean, Vice Dean, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Head of Departments, Director of the Institute of Science and Technology, , member of the University Senate and Board of Directors, and member of numerous boards and commissions. He is currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the same university. His areas of expertise include renewable energy resources, energy systems analysis, planning and optimisation. As of March 2025, he has over 300 national and international publications, over 1900 citations, book chapter authorship and editorship, national and international journal referee and editorial board membership in these fields. He has supervised more than 20 Master's and PhD students. He has participated in many national and international conferences and presented papers in his field. He has worked in executive, research and consultancy roles on a number of projects. He has received TUBITAK publication incentive and best paper awards at various conferences. He has a good command of English. He is married and has 2 children.
