The 2024–2025 Spring Sports Competitions Award Ceremony was held on May 29, 2025, at our University’s indoor sports hall. Our Vocational School Women’s Volleyball Team achieved outstanding success in the tournaments, securing first place in their category and receiving their award from Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat YURDAKUL.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Team Supervisor Lecturer Mihriban TUNCER and to our Women’s Volleyball Team for their valuable efforts, and we wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
Under the coordination of our Vocational School Directorate, the event titled “A Drop of Health-3” was held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM in the Faculty of Medicine Conference Hall, with the participation of our esteemed Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım KAPLANCIKLI and our Secretary General Mr. Muhammet BÜYÜK.
The event featured presentations by distinguished faculty members from our University’s Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Dr. Mehmet DOKUR delivered a talk titled “Approach to Periarrest Rhythms,” while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar GÜNGÖR presented on “Hospital Microbiology Laboratory Practices and the Most Common Pathogens.” The program also included the participation of Mr. Ercüment DİYAR, the Provincial Director of AFAD.
In addition, in front of the Health Buildings, various educational materials and creative products designed and produced by students from our Vocational School’s Child Development Program were exhibited. These included nature-inspired materials, shy puppets, wooden toys, bookmarks made from live flowers, decorative picture frames, paper folding crafts, painted stones, hand-painted cloth bags, stone compositions on canvas, various costumes, as well as mathematics-based games, interactive activities, and educational tools tailored for the preschool level.
On May 21, 2025, our Vocational School’s lecturers, Mustafa ZEYBEK, Muhammed Nazif GÜMÜŞ, and Samet Ramazan KOÇOĞLU, along with our students İkra FIRTANA, Kardelen PEYNİRCİ, Sümeyye Sultan İNCİ, Kübra ÇELİK, İlknur ÇELİK, and Rüya ATMACAOĞLU, visited Bilecik Girls’ Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. During the visit, they provided informative presentations to 11th and 12th-grade students about our school’s programs in Medical Documentation and Secretarial Services, First and Emergency Aid, and Operating Room Services.
The 3rd Science and Culture Festival, organized by our university this year, took place on May 7–8, 2025. The event saw strong participation from academic and administrative staff, students, and the general public.
As the Vocational School of Health Services, we participated in the 3rd Science and Culture Festival with high engagement, and our booths attracted great interest and appreciation.
The " Golden Rules for KPSS Success" event was organized by our University Career Center Coordination Office on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall.
Our First and Emergency Aid Program and Medical Laboratory Techniques Program students attended together with Adem Kaya and Pelin Senemoğlu.
In the seminar, detailed information was given about KPSS exam types, career opportunities in different sectors and important tips to increase success. During the training, topics such as how to plan a successful career, exam strategies and how to maintain motivation were also discussed. At the end of the seminar, students received information by asking questions they were curious about, and the event was greatly appreciated by the participants.
Students of the Medical Laboratory and Medical Services and Techniques Program visited the Central Research Laboratory Application and Research Center (BARUM) within the scope of the Instrumental Analysis course conducted by Assoc. Prof. Merve Keskin.
During the visit, BARUM laboratory personnel gave detailed information to the students about measurement and analysis methods, use of technical devices and laboratory procedures.

First year students of our Vocational School's First and Emergency Aid Program gained important experience within the scope of the Emergency Health Services course.
Our students gained detailed information about the technical and medical equipment they may encounter in ambulances during the training provided by the Ambulance Team. This training was enriched with on-site applications and provided our students with practical experiences.

Our university received "2024 Spatial Accessibility (Orange Flag)" award within the scope of the Barrier-Free University Awards organized by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye (YÖK).
