Psychological Counseling services, carried out under the umbrella of the Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Health, Culture, and Sports Department, offer preventative, developmental, and adaptive guidance studies targeting our university students and staff. The aim is to support individuals' personal, emotional, and social development, and in this context, individual psychological counseling services are provided. During the counseling process, a professional approach is exhibited based on the principles of confidentiality, voluntariness, and trust, taking into account the individual's requests and needs.

Psychological Counseling Unit Principles:

• Confidentiality: The individual's privacy is protected; interviews remain confidential between the counselor and the client. Except in extraordinary circumstances and conditions, information cannot be shared with any person, unit, or institution without the individual's knowledge and consent.

• Trust: The psychological counseling process is conducted through a relationship of trust established between the counselor and the client.

• Voluntariness: The counseling service is based on the principle of voluntariness. Individuals seeking support must be willing to have an interview.

• Respect and Tolerance: Psychological counseling and guidance services are offered based on respect for individual differences, regardless of individuals' beliefs, values, or personal characteristics.
