2025-2026 Fall Semester Academic Advising/Office Hours
To strengthen communication between our academic staff and students, and to allow students to consult with faculty members in more detail on their academic development, course-related matters, etc., the weekly consultation/office hours are provided in the table below. To ensure your meetings are more productive outside of these hours, you may request an appointment from the relevant faculty member regarding the topic.
Our advising structure is divided into two types:
Advisor (Kayıt Danışmanı/Registration Advisor): These are the advisors responsible for official procedures such as registration periods, course selection, and other administrative tasks, whose information students can access through their Student Information System (OBS).

Academic Advisor: These are the advisors whom students can consult regarding courses, fields they wish to pursue, academic development, etc. The student-faculty member matching for this purpose is done by the Head of Department. Information regarding this is available in the lists located in the 'Files' section at the end of the table below. Students can check their names on these lists to find out which faculty member is their academic advisor. Additionally, graduate students enrolled in our department can also benefit from our faculty members' advising activities during the specified hours.
The aim is to increase the efficiency and quality of advising services, especially given the heavy workload during registration periods and the large number of students assigned to registration advisors. The student-faculty member matching for academic advising has been done to make it easier for our students to find a contact person and to ensure continuity in advising. However, the doors of all our faculty members are open to our students. We wish our valued students a successful academic semester.
