The Department of Economics Undergraduate Program has 13 Program Learning Outcomes. The last four of these have been determined as program-specific outcomes. The outcome statements and the course-to-program learning outcome alignments are provided below.

1)Have a comprehensive knowledge of economic theory, concepts and methods.

Açıklama: Students learn the fundamental concepts of economics, including micro and macroeconomic theories, their historical development, and how to use these concepts in economic analysis.

2)Knowledge and methods from different disciplines are combined to provide a holistic understanding of the issues and problems encountered.

Açıklama: Students gain the ability to develop solutions to various problems by using an interdisciplinary approach and integrating knowledge and methods from different fields.

3)Utilizes different disciplines to develop an economic perspective.

Açıklama: Students conduct economic analyses using knowledge and methods acquired from different disciplines (e.g., sociology, public administration, finance), thereby bringing an interdisciplinary approach to these analyses.

4)Develops critical thinking and analysis skills by approaching national and international developments from an economic perspective.
