The celebrations marking the 102nd anniversary of our Republic were held with great enthusiasm under the auspices of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, followed by a speech from Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer, in which he extended his congratulations to students and citizens.

As part of the program, participants enjoyed a variety of performances including an armed demonstration by the Bilecik Gendarmerie Training Command, poetry recitations by students, folk dance performances, musical presentations, and sports demonstrations organized by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports.

The spirited celebration was attended by Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer, Members of Parliament Halil Eldemir and Yaşar Tüzün, Chief of Staff of the Combat Air Force Command Air Pilot Major General Ali Özmen, Commander of the Gendarmerie Training Brigade Brigadier General Yusuf Aslan, Bilecik Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı, Chief Public Prosecutor Burak Olgun, President of the Judicial Justice Commission Mehmet Kurt, our Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı, members of the provincial protocol, students, and numerous citizens.

Following the ceremony, a Republic Day reception was held. At the reception, our Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı and our Secretary General Muhammet Büyük came together with guests to share the joy of the 102nd anniversary of our Republic.
