Lecturer Mesut Kaplan and students from the Food Technology Program of our Vocational School participated in the Çukurören Pepper Festival held in Çukurören Village, Bilecik.

Throughout the event, 30 unique products prepared with great care and dedication by our students were presented to visitors. These included a variety of pepper-based confections, cookies, cakes, sauces, spices, and snacks. With their innovative and original compositions, the products honored traditional flavors while reflecting a modern culinary approach.

The creations attracted significant attention from festival attendees, showcasing our students’ creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and hands-on skills. The event also served as a meaningful platform for promoting the region’s rich pepper heritage and highlighting our university’s contributions to local production and innovation.

The enthusiastic reception of the products provided valuable motivation for our students and academic team to develop new ideas for future projects.
