General Chemistry – Analytical Chemistry – Organic Chemistry Laboratory

Our department has laboratories for General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry, allowing all our students to perform experiments simultaneously.

Chemical Engineering Laboratory I

Pilot-scale modern devices are utilized to enable students to understand basic and complex systems and gain business skills. Within the scope of the Chemical Engineering Laboratory I course, experiment sets obtained from Armfield UK, Edibon, and Brookfield companies are used.

  • concentric tube heat exchanger

  • Temperature Measurement and Calibration

  • Fixed and Fluidized Bed

  • Gas Absorption Column

  • Osborne – Reynolds System

  • Solid - Liquid Extraction

  • Viscosity Measurement

  • Sedimentation Tank

Chemical Engineering Laboratory II

Pilot-scale modern devices are utilized to enable students to understand basic and complex systems and gain business skills. Within the scope of the Chemical Engineering Laboratory II course, experiment sets obtained from Armfield UK, Edibon, and Brookfield companies are used.

  • Size Reduction and Sieve Analysis

  • Ventilation

  • Distillation Column

  • Temprerature Control Module

  • Laboratory Flaculator (Coagulant)

  • Liquid Phase Chemical Reactor

  • Friction Loss in Computer-Controlled Pipes

Computer Laboratory

Students can benefit from the computer laboratory facilities within the faculty, which all have an internet connection and suitably equipped computers. In addition to basic software such as Microsoft Office, emphasis is placed on the use of advanced scientific and engineering software such as MatLab and ChemCad in relevant courses.
