Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University School of Foreign Languages organised a ‘Cultural Exchange Day’ event on 27 October 2025 in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Two special guests from the United States participated in the event, sharing their cultural experiences and observations about their lives with the students. At the opening of the programme, Lecturer Dr Aslıhan Bağcı Sezer spoke about the significance for her of reuniting with members of the same family who had hosted her as an exchange student in the US years ago, and about her experiences during that time.

Throughout the event, students actively participated by asking questions to the guests and created an interactive dialogue environment on topics such as culture, education, lifestyle, and daily life. At the end of the programme, our guests were presented with certificates of appreciation by our college director, Associate Professor Dr. Yasin Acar. 

Such events, which facilitate the meeting of different cultures, increase students' motivation to learn foreign languages while also strengthening intercultural understanding and communication.
