The "Isik Ceramic Competition" with international participation, organized for the first time this year by Kase Seramik Ltd. Sti., has concluded. The exhibition consisting of the works that won awards in the competition and were deemed worthy of being exhibited, met with art lovers in Izmir on Wednesday, April 23rd.
Our University's Graduate Education Institute Ceramics and Glass Department Master's Program students achieved significant success in the competition, where 45 works were exhibited and 7 works were deemed worthy of awards out of a total of 87 participants. Our graduate student Nurgin Cetin Almalı was deemed worthy of the "Ates Arcasoy Special Award" with her work titled "Birlikte Sarılarak Uyuyalim"; and our graduate student Ayse Ustubi was deemed worthy of the "Aysel Abdullah Duran Special Award" with her work titled "Icimdeki Yuva".
Our graduate students Deniz Tutgun was deemed worthy of exhibition with her work titled "Icten Disa Kirilma: YASAM", Esra Yıldırım with her work titled "Ailede Hersey Vardir", Muhammet Fatih Coban with her work titled "Iyi Bayramlar" and our undergraduate program graduate Busra Anzerli with her work titled "Knot". We congratulate our students who have won the appreciation of the jury members with their works and brought 2 awards to our University and whose works have been exhibited, and wish them continued success.
