Duties:

1-Evaluating the "Technology Preliminary Evaluation Reports" sent to the Board and submitting the relevant decision to the Board of Directors.

2- To determine the university's policies on intellectual and industrial rights.

3- To manage all intellectual products within the scope of intellectual and industrial rights in administrative, legal and economic terms.

4- To mediate the decision-making in the actions to be taken in cases of infringement of rights arising from the unauthorized use of intellectual products protected in favor of the University by third parties.

5- To decide in which countries national and international applications will be made for the protection of intellectual products

6- To decide whether or not to keep some idea products as trade secrets and not to disclose them, depending on the nature of the subject and their compliance with the determined business policies,

7- To apply to the Board of Directors through the FMDK Presidency to determine the fees related to the rights arising from the ownership of rights to intellectual products in accordance with these policies and principles,

8-Technology transfer, to take the necessary decisions on the ownership of rights on intellectual and industrial rights that arise / may arise as a result of university-industry cooperation,

9- To make and implement decisions on the payment of annual fees for patent or utility model certificates and the renewal of designs and trademarks in due time,

10- To give an opinion to the Board of Directors on the ownership of intellectual and industrial property rights arising as a result of the information produced by the University faculty members in the Technology Development Zone.

11- To implement the decisions taken by the Board of Directors.
