Duties, Powers and Responsibilities of the Faculty Dean

  • To preside over the faculty boards, to implement the decisions of the faculty boards and to ensure regular work between the faculty units,
  • To report to the rector on the general condition and operation of the faculty at the end of each academic year and when requested,
  • To inform the rectorate of the appropriation and staff needs of the faculty along with its justification, to present the proposal regarding the faculty budget to the rectorate after receiving the opinion of the faculty administrative board,
  • To carry out general supervision and control duties on faculty units and personnel at all levels,
  • Deans are responsible for rationally using and developing the teaching capacity of the faculty and its affiliated units, taking security measures when necessary, providing necessary social services to students, conducting education, training, scientific research and publication activities in a regular manner, supervising and controlling all activities. and is primarily responsible to the rector in obtaining the results.

Authority, Duties and Responsibilities of the Faculty Board

  • To decide on the education-training, scientific research and publication activities of the faculty and the principles related to these activities, the plan, the program and the education-training calendar,
  • Selecting a member of the faculty board

Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities of the Faculty Administrative Board

  • To assist the principal in the implementation of the principles determined by the decisions of the faculty board,
  • To ensure the implementation of the faculty's education, training, plans and programs and the calendar,
  • Preparing the faculty investment, program and budget draft,
  • To take decisions on all matters brought by the Dean of the Faculty regarding faculty management,
  • To decide on the admission of students, their course adjustments and expulsions, and the procedures for education and examinations.

Duties, Powers and Responsibilities of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty

  • To develop policies and strategies related to education, training and research.
  • To carry out other duties as assigned by the Dean.
  • Acting as the dean in the absence of the dean.

Duties, Authorities and Responsibilities of the Faculty Secretary

  • To have full knowledge of all the legislation (Laws, Decrees with the Force of Law, Presidential Decrees, Statutes, Decisions of the President, Regulations, Circulars, Directives) related to their duties and to carry out all administrative affairs.
  • Preparing a weekly report regarding the work done in the unit and presenting it to his/her manager.
  • To ensure the division of labor among the administrative, technical and general service personnel in the unit. To carry out the necessary supervision and surveillance.
  • To present a proposal to the Dean for the administrative and general service personnel to be assigned in the unit.
  • To act as a reporter in the Faculty Board and the Faculty Administrative Board without the right to vote.
  • To prepare the agenda of the Faculty Administrative Board and Faculty Disciplinary Committee and to distribute it to the members.
  • To ensure that the decisions of the boards are sent to the relevant authorities and archived
  • To ensure that the necessary security measures are taken in the building campus.
  • To arrange the permissions of the administrative and general service personnel working in the unit in a way that does not disrupt the work flow processes.
  • To ensure that the savings measures are acted in accordance with.
  • To hold periodic meetings with administrative personnel and general service personnel and to take the necessary measures for their efficient work.
  • To ensure a fair division of labor among the personnel, to control whether they fulfill their duties with their costumes, to organize the duties and units of the administrative personnel when necessary.
  • To ensure that the personal files of the academic and administrative personnel in the unit are kept.
  • To ensure that student affairs in the unit are carried out in an orderly manner.
  • To ensure that the warehouses of the unit are kept in order.
  • To ensure that the documents coming from EBYS are recorded, directed and finalized within the unit by transferring them.
  • To ensure that the necessary transactions in the purchase of all kinds of goods and materials required in the unit are carried out by the movable registration control officer.
  • To prepare the unit budget draft.
  • To ensure and supervise the regular execution of environmental cleaning, maintenance and repair services of the unit building and campus.
  • Examining and supervising the book exhibitions, stands and posters and similar requests to be opened in the unit.
  • Helping students to provide necessary social services.
  • To make necessary warnings about the implementation of occupational health and safety issues in the working environment, to warn and control the doors and windows to be kept closed outside of working hours.
  • To ensure that the documents related to the recruitment of academic and administrative personnel to be recruited to the unit are prepared and the procedures for extending the term of office are carried out.
  • To ensure that all data belonging to the unit are kept up-to-date.
  • Strategic Plan, Activity Reports, etc. of the Unit. to prepare reports.
  • To approve and certify the necessary documents. (student documents, transcripts, photocopy of diploma, etc.)
