Within the scope of MUD225 Research Methods course, our students Muhammet Seyit KARDAŞ, Zeynep AKYÜREK and İrem YILDIZ attended the 5th National Insurance and Actuarial Congress held in Çorum on 11-12 November 2024 online and presented their paper titled "Bibliometric Analysis of Studies on Catastrophic Bonds". Congratulations to our students.

Our Head of Department Prof. Dr. Feride HAYIRSEVER BAŞTÜRK participated in the 27th Finance Symposium held in Nevşehir on October 9-12.

Dr. Lecturer from our department attended the event held by Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce Banking and Insurance Profession Committee on October 12, 2024. Prof. Dr. Serap KAMIŞLI participated in the event. During the event, the opportunities for our department students to do internship in insurance agencies that are members of the committee were evaluated.

The Department of Finance and Banking participated in the 11th International Accounting and Finance Research Congress held in Bartın on September 27-29, 2024. Head of the Department Prof. Dr. Feride HAYIRSEVER BAŞTÜRK, Faculty Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Orkun ORAL and Banking and Insurance Master's Program student Duygu ERSİN attended the congress.
