To be an effective department capable of providing education and training at both national and international levels, conducting internationally recognized research, contributing to the scientific literature, participating in university-industry collaborations that offer regional and national economic advantages, creating results-oriented projects, and providing all possible resources to support the academic careers of department staff.
Vision
To educate bioengineers who incorporate bioengineering principles and technology into educational processes, utilize current analytical, diagnostic, and bioinformatics tools, and are proficient in bioprocess design, biomaterial development, and applications. Our vision is to cultivate open-minded bioengineers with strong problem-solving skills who stay up-to-date with advancements in the pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics industries and can access relevant resources.
We aim to train bioengineers who identify, define, and address unmet needs and critical issues in biomedical, bioprocess, and biomaterial industries, integrating engineering and basic science principles and methods to develop comprehensive solutions.
Our department is also dedicated to encouraging faculty research and promoting the involvement of emerging bioengineers in these studies, creating a collaborative and forward-thinking academic environment.
