The Department of Cereals and Edible Grain Legumes conducts cultivation, adaptation, and breeding studies on "Cool-Season Cereals (Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, and Triticale)," "Warm-Season Cereals (Maize, Rice, and Sorghum)," and "Edible Grain Legumes (Chickpea, Lentil, Bean, Pea, Cowpea, and Broad Bean)."
