Within our department, there are three main divisions: "Cereals and Edible Grain Legumes," "Industrial Crops," and "Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage Crops." The department is staffed by 6 faculty members and 1 research assistant.

The Field Crops Department offers undergraduate and graduate-level education to train Agricultural Engineers, Agricultural Senior Engineers, and future academics equipped with fundamental knowledge of field crops. The education emphasizes the cultivation and breeding of cereals, legumes, industrial crops, and forage plants, with the aim of producing individuals who generate knowledge, convert that knowledge into social and economic benefits, are environmentally conscious, and committed to preserving biodiversity and natural resources.
