1. Do I need to renew my registration every semester? Do I need to apply in person for the registration renewal process?
Students continuing their education must renew their registration at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters each academic year on the dates announced in the academic calendar, following the instructions in the announcements on the university's website. Students who select their courses and pay any required fees within the announced time frame will have their registration confirmation processed automatically. After completing the online registration renewal process, students can also contact their registration advisor on the announced dates to finalize their registration confirmation.

2. What is the passing grade for the class/semester? What are the consequences if I fall below this grade?
Students are required to take all courses offered in the first two semesters of their program. Starting from the third semester, in addition to the compulsory courses they must take each semester, students are also required to select courses from elective course pools. Students with a GPA below 2.00 can register for courses equivalent to the credit load of the normal semester (30 ECTS). Students with a GPA of 2.00 or higher can register for courses up to 50% more than the normal semester credit load (45 ECTS). These GPA thresholds that determine the credit load a student can take are applicable at the end of each semester.

3. Is it mandatory to attend summer school?
Summer school is opened to allow students to retake courses in which they have failed during the fall and spring semesters, to provide an opportunity for students to raise their GPAs, to enable students to take courses they could not enroll in during the fall or spring semesters, and to allow successful students to take courses from higher classes. Attending summer school is at the discretion of the student.

4. How many courses can I register for in summer school? Can I take a course that I didn’t take during the semester in summer school?
A maximum of four courses can be registered for in summer school. Courses that the student did not take or failed during the fall and spring semesters can be registered in summer school.

5. Can I take upper-level courses in the fall, spring semesters, and summer school?
Students with a GPA of 3.00 or higher who meet the success criteria can select courses from higher classes. The success criteria mean that the student must not have any failed or uncompleted courses.

6. If a course is not offered in summer school or is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, can I take a course from another university?
If a course is not offered or cannot be registered for in the university's summer school, it can be taken from another university's summer school if the credit and course content are deemed appropriate by the relevant Department Chair. Students from other universities can also benefit from our university's summer school.

7. When can I participate in the single course exam? When should I apply to take the exam?
At the end of the fall semester, spring semester, or summer school (if offered), students who meet the attendance requirements for all courses but received an FF or YZ grade in a single course or could not graduate because they did not meet the required GPA despite passing all courses are given an opportunity to take a makeup exam for that one course on the dates specified in the academic calendar. However, students who cannot raise their GPA to 2.00 with the grade they receive from this exam will not be granted a right to take the single course exam. Students who meet the conditions must apply in writing to their respective departments at least five business days before the single course exam date specified in the academic calendar.

8. Is there an attendance requirement during the fall, spring semesters, and summer school?
Students are required to attend 70% of theoretical classes and 80% of practical work during the fall, spring semesters, and summer school. Students who do not meet this requirement will receive a DZ (Attendance) grade and will not be granted the right to take the exam.

9. I missed the midterm/final exam due to an excuse. What should I do to take the makeup exam?
Applications regarding excuses must be made in writing to the Faculty Dean's Office within five business days from the start of the excuse period, either in person, by fax, or by any other method determined by the university's relevant boards. For applications made by fax, the original document must be submitted to the Dean's Office within five business days. Applications made outside this period will be deemed invalid. However, for health reports, this period starts from the date of issuance of the medical leave certificate.

10. How can I reach the faculty members?
You can access the contact information of faculty members by querying at http://rehber.bilecik.edu.tr/ or through the faculty's web page. Especially in situations where you need to reach your advisor regarding registrations, it is preferable to send an email or a message through the Student Information System (SIS) instead of calling, as this will reduce the volume of inquiries and improve the quality of service you receive.

11. Can I find out about registration renewal and exam dates?
You can find all dates in the Academic Calendar section on our department's website. Additionally, announcements regarding registration renewal periods and exam dates are made on the faculty and department websites before these periods.

12. Can I access the content, flow, and resources of the course I am taking or have taken?
You can access the contents and credits of courses at https://ebs.bilecik.edu.tr/Program/DersPlani?BolumNo=328&Yil=2023. This page provides information on course contents and credits, organized by semester.
