In our department, 7+1, namely Vocational Education in Business Course Application will start in the upcoming spring semester. Students who will benefit from Vocational Education in Business should choose the start date of the courses as the start date. Points to be Considered by Students During the EEM466 Vocational Training Course in Business Administration:

  • Vocational Training in Business Administration, which is carried out during the Academic Year, is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar of the University, in the spring semester of the faculty, for 16 (14+2) weeks and in accordance with the course program.
  • In the Vocational Training in Business course, students are required to attend at least 80% of the business. With the approval of the Vocational Training in Business Instructor and the Vocational Training in Business Instructor, they can use excuse leave for up to 20% of the education period. For students who do not complete the specified periods for mandatory attendance, the remaining days are added to the end of the study period with the proposal of the Vocational Training in Business Instructor and the approval of the Unit Applied Training Commission.
  • Insurance of students who continue their skills training in businesses by completing their Vocational Training in Business is made and paid by the academic unit where the student is registered at the University, in accordance with the provisions of the Social Security Institution.
  • The students who will work within the scope of the Vocational Training course in Business are given a description of the work and operations to be carried out by the business in which they will work, their duties and responsibilities are specified, and these students carry out the tasks assigned to them according to the work plan prepared for their field of education, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
  • In addition to the "Higher Education Institutions Student Disciplinary Regulations", students must comply with the rules of the company where they continue their Vocational Training in Business regarding work, discipline and work safety.
  • Students shall notify the Department Head and/or the Instructor Responsible for Vocational Education in Business Administration of all their excuses and requests regarding Vocational Education in Business Administration.
  • In order to change the business they work for within the scope of the Vocational Training in Business course, students apply to the relevant academic unit with the approval of the Vocational Training in Business Business Manager and the Vocational Training in Business Instructor, provided that they can prove a valid reason. The student's business is changed with the approval of the Unit Applied Training Committee of the relevant academic unit.
  • Students must use all tools and equipment with care. If they act otherwise, they will be held personally responsible for any accidents or damages that may occur.
  • In cases where students have to leave their Vocational Training in Business places, they must obtain permission from the Vocational Training in Business Manager.
  • Those who do not attend Vocational Training in Business without an excuse are considered to have failed the Vocational Training in Business course. Students who fail must retake the Vocational Training in Business course and continue the course.
  • Students cannot participate in union activities during the Vocational Training in Business.
  • Within the scope of the Vocational Training in Business course, they are required to prepare a Vocational Training in Business Student Report about their work in the business and submit it to the Vocational Training in Business Instructor.,
  • The following ratios are used to measure and evaluate the success of the Vocational Training course in Business Administration;
    1. Vocational Education in Business Responsible Instructor Evaluation 60%
    2. Vocational Education in Business Responsible Instructor Evaluation 40%,
  • In the evaluation of the Vocational Training in Business Administration course, 49 and below is divided as FF, 50 and above is divided by 25 and converted into a success grade in accordance with the closest coefficient in Article 22 of the Associate and Undergraduate Education-Training Regulation.
  • Students who fail the Vocational Training in Business course must retake the course and continue the course. Students who fail the Vocational Training in Business course are not given the right to take make-up exams or single-course exams.
  • There is no obstacle for students who will take Research Project and/or Graduation Thesis courses to participate in vocational training in the enterprise.
  • Students whose company requests are approved must come to our department and have the documents they will receive from us approved by our department head and their companies. Students must bring a photocopy of their ID and the entitlement document they will obtain from e-devlet.
