Internship

In the undergraduate program of our Department of Electrical and Electronics, there are two internship periods of 20 working days each (Internship I - Electrical and Internship II Electronics). Before starting your internship, you must read our internship directive. The internship forms listed below (in articles 1-6) must be submitted to the internship commission at least 15 days before the start of the internship.

What to do before and after the internship

The forms that must be followed in Internship Applications are listed below.
 
  1. Internship Acceptance Document (It must be written, signed and stamped by the company, and it must clearly state the dates and whether the lab/business internship will be done, the section on whether it works on Saturdays must be filled in and attention must be paid to official holidays.) Internship interviews for graduate students (those with only internships remaining) are held only on Thursdays between 9:00-16:00.

Frequently asked questions about EEM Internship

The first pages of the Internship Report consist of the following items. (The internship writing template must be used.)

  • Outer Cover (The internship report will be bound in a white cardboard cover. No other filing type will be accepted.)
  • Inside Cover
  • Annex 2 (Document given to you by e-mail or by hand)
  • Annex 4 b (Do not forget to attach a photo)
  • Annex 5 (Intern Student Attendance Tracking Chart)
  • Contents
  • Each page of the workflows in the internship report must be signed and stamped.
  • CD (Internship Report must be in two files, both word and pdf format)
  • The documents filled out, signed and stamped by the authorized person at the company must be given to the student in a sealed envelope (Annex 3b and Annex 3c) by the company. The envelope must be delivered to the internship committee without being opened.

Students whose internship applications are approved can obtain the "Insurance Start Document" by typing "employment start" in the search section of e-government. (You can obtain it 1-2 days before the internship starts.) NOTE: Those who are not Turkish citizens can obtain it from the Faculty of Engineering Dean's Office Accrual Unit.

Students who receive a fee during their internship must submit the Internship Workplace Fee Payment Document, along with the bank receipt showing that the fee was paid to the intern student, to the Dean's Office Accrual Unit at the end of the internship.

Those who do not receive payment do not need to submit the form.
