Starting from the upcoming spring semester, our department will implement the 7+1 model, i.e., the Vocational Training in Business Course. Students who wish to take this course should carefully review the guidelines provided in the following link:

Some Important Information:

As stated in the guidelines, students wishing to take the course must have a minimum GPA of 2.00, and the business where the course will be conducted must have a prior agreement with our university. Students may find a business themselves and facilitate the signing of an agreement with the university. To take this course, students must also have a valid occupational safety certificate. Students who will benefit from Vocational Training in Business must have completed at least one internship as of the 2024-2025 academic year. (The requirement to have completed at least one internship will not apply in the 2023-2024 academic year.)

Students taking this course must attend the business for at least 80% of the scheduled hours. Those who fail the course are required to retake it in the next semester and meet the attendance requirement. No make-up exams or single-course exams will be provided for students who fail this course.

Specifically for our department, the business where the course is taken must operate in the IT sector, have at least 5 employees, and employ at least one computer engineer. Employees from other engineering fields will not be considered computer engineers regardless of their roles. Additionally, students who wish to select this course must have successfully completed all courses from the first four semesters.

• Vocational Training in Business (IME) Attendance Sheet
• Evaluation Form (Generated by taking a printout from the yellow button after entering grades on the "firma.bilecik.edu.tr" portal).
