The TEKNOKOD team competed in the 2024 Teknofest Technology for the Benefit of Humanity Competition, under the Disaster Management category, held in Antalya between September 5–8, 2024, with their project 'Anka Diriliş,' which integrates earthquake simulation with VR technology.

Selected as one of the 6,514 finalist projects out of a total of 1,630,000 applications across all categories at Teknofest 2024, the TEKNOKOD team successfully represented Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University at Teknofest Mediterranean, held in Antalya. Their project attracted significant attention throughout the competition.
On September 8, following their return from the event, the TEKNOKOD team met with Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Asım Kaplancıklı, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murat Yurdakul and Prof. Dr. Nazile Ural, Secretary General Muhammet Büyük, and Deputy Secretary General Fakrullah Tohumcu. During the meeting, Rector Kaplancıklı personally experienced the team’s VR-based earthquake simulation game, "Anka Diriliş," and was briefed on the project’s details. Commending the team’s success, Rector Kaplancıklı presented gifts on behalf of the university to the Teknofest finalists.
The success of the TEKNOKOD team has become a great source of pride for both the university and the city of Bilecik. Aiming to raise disaster awareness by providing an immersive earthquake experience through VR technology, the project Anka Diriliş will continue to attract attention in Adana as well.
