As a department, our mission is to provide education within the framework of new social conditions emerging with the change of social structure by using contemporary education methods and techniques;

• Based on universal human rights and the principle of social justice,
• Recognising the characteristics of the society in which he/she lives, having ethical principles and following scientific developments in his/her field,
• Carrying out appropriate professional work with disadvantaged groups in society,
• Researching the resources in the community and using them for the benefit of the client,
• Ensuring the creation of the resources necessary for the clients,
• To train social workers who can carry out interdisciplinary studies, provide social change and have a say in the production of social policies.
