This programme has an up-to-date and rich curriculum that will provide competence in the fields of communication, public relations and advertising. The courses in the field of public relations are company orientated and are taught in the context of marketing communication.
In the first year of the programme, students take courses on communication knowledge, introduction to public relations and publicity, marketing and new communication technologies. In the second year of the programme, students learn how to put theoretical knowledge into practice and gain experience in advertising, media and society, and professional English. In addition, at the end of the first year, students are able to put into practice the knowledge gained through internship training and gain real working experience in line with the requirements of the sector.
As the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, we produce graduates who design and implement communication campaigns by competently analysing the relationship between institutions, their stakeholders and target audiences. With this department, it is aimed that our graduates successfully fulfil the requirements of the new generation public relations understanding with their analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
