In the 12th Muammer Çakı International Student Ceramic Competition, organized this year by Anadolu University’s Department of Ceramics, our graduate student Deniz TUTGUN from the Department of Ceramics and Glass received the "Kale Ceramic Achievement Award", the sole award in the "Free Ceramics" category, with their work titled "From Within the Fire."
Our Research Assistant Ozan BEBEK from the Department of Ceramics and Glass was honored with the "Architectural Ceramic Art Studio Special Award" for his work "Forsaken Future", and graduate student Selen GÜLTEKİN received the "Wanxing Foreign Trade Inc. Special Award" for her work "Only Me."
Moreover, out of 22 Turkish and 3 international universities participating in the competition, 13 students from our Department of Ceramics and Glass had 15 pieces pass the preliminary selection to be exhibited at the exhibition held at Anadolu University Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery.
The students whose works were deemed worthy of exhibition are:

Our research assistant, alongside undergraduate, graduate, and proficiency in art students from the Department of Ceramics and Glass, achieved remarkable success in this international competition. Their works, deemed worthy of exhibition, and the awards received demonstrated a significant presence among the participants, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication.

Anadolu Üniversitesi Seramik Bölümünün bu yıl 12. sini düzenlediği Muammer Çakı Uluslararası Öğrenci Seramik Yarışması’nda Seramik ve Cam Bölümü Yüksek Lisans öğrencimiz Deniz TUTGUN ‘Ateşin İçinden Gelen’ isimli eseriyle, ‘Serbest Seramik’ Dalında tek başarı ödülü olan ‘Kale Seramik Başarı Ödülü’nü kazanmıştır.
Seramik ve Cam Bölümümüz Araştırma Görevlisi Ozan BEBEK ‘Forsaken Future’ isimli eseriyle ‘Mimari Seramik Sanat Atölyesi Özel Ödülü’nü; Yüksek Lisans öğrencilerimizden Selen GÜLTEKİN ise ‘Only Me’ isimli eseriyle ‘Wanxing Dış Ticaret A.Ş. Özel Ödülü’ne layık görülmüştür.
Ayrıca, toplam 22 Türk, 3 yabancı üniversitenin seramik bölümü öğrencilerinin katıldığı yarışmanın Anadolu Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi sergi salonunda düzenlenen sergi seçkisine, Seramik ve Cam Bölümümüzden 13 öğrencimizden toplam 15 eser ön elemeyi geçerek sergilenmek üzere kabul almıştır. Sergilemeye değer görülen eserlerin sahipleri öğrencilerimiz: Belgin ALBAYRAK, Beyza GÜLSOY, Deniz TUTGUN (2. eseri ile) , Elif AKBULUT, Emre ÖKTEM, Esra YILDIRIM, Gülçin TOK, İrem BÜYÜKBÖCEK (2 eseri ile), Lamia KENAN ve Meltem Yalçın GİRESUNLU’dur.
Seramik ve Cam Bölümü Araştırma Görevlimiz ile birlikte Lisans, Yüksek Lisans ve Sanatta Yeterlik öğrencilerimiz; tüm katılımcılar arasından sergilemeye değer görülen eserler ve belirlenen ödüller arasında çoğunluğu sağlayarak uluslararası yarışmada üstün başarı göstermişlerdir.
