What are the Department Opportunities?

Our department was established in 2012. 1 associate professor and 5 lecturers work in the department. Theoretical and practical courses are conducted by faculty members in the department. The training program includes application courses that students take in pre-school education institutions and private education and rehabilitation centers in the fall and spring semesters of the 2nd grade in order to develop the knowledge and skills required in the field and to gain experience.

Work Opportunities for Graduates

Students graduating from the Child Development Associate Degree Program; In kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, private nurseries and kindergartens, private education and rehabilitation centers, centers and hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health, Family and Social Services Directorate, children's libraries, children's publishing houses and children's toys sectors, in the production of educational toys for children. He/she can work in the preparation of publications such as books, magazines and newspapers, in the preparation of cartoons for children, in the preparation and execution of children's and youth programs and educational programs on radio and television, in children's theaters and children's films, and in organizations such as UNICEF, ILO and Non-Governmental Organizations. .

Departments that can be preferred through Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)

Students who graduate from the Child Development Program can transfer to 4-year undergraduate programs in Child Development, Preschool Teaching, Special Education Teaching, Health Management and Social Work with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
