Our university hosted an enthusiastic crowd on the closing day of the “2nd Bilecik Science Festival”. Activities such as BİL-SEM event, Gendarmerie General Command shows, Çanakkale Wars Mobile Museum, Try-and-Build Workshop Activities, AFAD Earthquake Simulation Truck were the center of attention of our students and citizens.  The stand where our Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) students exhibited the folk dances of their countries and presented the food of their countries attracted great interest from the citizens.

In the special session organized by the Career Center Coordinatorship in our Library and Information Center, Ömer Kökçam, President of Tübitak Science and Society, and Üzeyir Yıldırım, Provincial Director of Bilecik Labor and Employment Agency, made presentations to our students. Mr. Kökçam, who shared his experiences with our students with his presentation on “Science and Society Studies on the Journey of National Technology Move”, answered the questions of our students after the presentation.

Sarsılmaz weapons stand, where domestic and national products in the Defense Industry inventories were exhibited, and Turkish armored vehicles such as Kirpi, Ejder Yalçın, Cobra II and Vuran were the most popular shows of the festival.

Our University hosted a unique evening with the Turkish Art Music Concert and closed the “2nd Bilecik Science Festival” with the TUBITAK Sky Night Observation Event.
