INTERNSHIP APPLICATION AND REPORT SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
- Students who are eligible to apply for internship (graduates, those who have a single course, those who are on summer vacation, etc.) will prepare their internship application documents according to the “Civil Engineering Department Internship Guide” and “Internship Information Presentation” on the department web page.
- After the documents required for the internship application (Annex-1, Annex-2, Annex-4) are scanned and converted into PDF format, the internship table information in EXCEL format will be filled in completely and a total of 1 PDF and 1 Excel file will be sent to the e-mail address of the relevant Advisor Instructors specified below 15 days before the internship start date (can also be hand delivered). Students whose internship application has been approved can obtain the “Insurance start document” from e-government by typing “employment” in the search field (You can obtain it 1-2 days before the internship starts).
- Students who have completed their internship will come to the University within 1 month (30 days) at the latest and submit their internship report and documents to the relevant Supervisor Instructor. At least 1 week before the submission of the internship report, an appointment will be made for the day the report will be submitted and the oral interview will be held by contacting the Supervisor Instructor in charge according to the internship subject from the application e-mail address or phone numbers.
- 2nd and 3rd year students who did their internship during the summer break will submit their approved internship reports and documents until the last working day of the first semester following the summer break during the Course/Add/Delete and Excuse Registration Week.
- Students will take care to ensure that Annex-3a and Annex-3b (stamped and wet signed) are in a sealed envelope when submitting the Internship Report. Delivery of Internship Reports will not be made by cargo, mail or any other person.
