Cement Process and Production Quality Practical Seminar was held at Safi Cement Production Facilities on May 21, 2024 by the Career Center Coordinatorship in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering Civil Engineering Department.

The event, which was attended by the students of the Department of Civil Engineering, was attended by Career Center Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Tezcan UYSAL, Faculty of Engineering Vice Dean Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Hasan BOZKURT, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assistant Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hacer TAŞKIRAN TEPE, Assoc. Assist. Ebrar ULUSİNAN ÇUBUKÇI and Civil Engineering Department Lecturer Assist. Assist. Nazım Çağatay DEMİRAL attended.

In the seminar held in the Occupational Health and Safety Department, experts shared information about the processes and production with the students. Then, a presentation was made on the Occupational Health and Safety rules that must be followed in cement production facilities. After the seminar, a field trip was organized with the production managers in order for the students to recognize the theoretically expressed cement processes in the field. The event ended after Safi Cement Company offered lunch to our students.
