The 2025–2026 Academic Year First-Year Orientation Program of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Faculty of Medicine Conference Hall.
Throughout the full-day event, students attended comprehensive information sessions about the faculty and the department.

The program began with an opening speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berrak Mızrak Şahin, Head of the Nursing Department, followed by an introduction session with the Dean, Vice Deans, department administrators, and academic and administrative staff.
Next, Assist. Prof. Aysun Acun provided detailed information about the administrative structure of the faculty, the introduction of the nursing department, the academic calendar, education and examination regulations, and the implementation of practical courses.

Third-year student Behiyenur Örgün introduced the health, transportation, and library facilities available to students.

In the afternoon sessions, Dr. Aysun Acun presented the mission and vision of the department, program goals and outcomes, and the accreditation process.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neşe Mercan gave an overview of the Peer Mentoring Program, while Res. Asst. İrem Kuş provided information about the academic advising services.

Later in the program, Lect. Sultan Kayan introduced the student exchange programs, third-year student Tarık Baran Şahin presented the Turkish Nurses Association Student Commission, and Res. Asst. Semanur Bilgiç introduced the Nursing and Health Club.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, during which students had the opportunity to ask questions about the department and university life.
