Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Akdeniz Kudubeş, our department's faculty member, is a researcher in the project titled "The Role of Breast Milk and Serum Exosome Profile in Predicting the Severity and Treatment Requirements of Neonatal Jaundice Due to ABO Incompatibility" with project number 43057. This project has been approved for support by the Türkiye Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB) under the A-Group Emergency R&D Project Support Program, with a budget of 150,000 TL and a duration of 12 months.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Akdeniz Kudubeş’s research titled "Utilizing Digital Tools for Self-Report Symptom Assessment and Management in Pediatric Oncology: A Systematic Review" has been published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management (Q1).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Akdeniz Kudubeş’s study titled "The Predictive Power of Game Addiction and Social Media Addiction on Adolescents' Lifestyle" has been published in Psychology in the Schools (Q3).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu BAYRAK KAHRAMAN and Dr. Aysun ACUN from our department have published their research titled "Development of the Critically Ill Patient Eye Assessment Scale: A Study of Validity and Reliability" in the Nursing in Critical Care journal (Q1).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu BAYRAK KAHRAMAN has published her research titled "Views of Senior Nursing Students on the Concept of Old Age: A Metaphor Study" in the Educational Gerontology journal (Q3).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ's research titled "Validity and Reliability Study of the Turkish Version of the Salzburg Stress Eating Scale for Children and Adolescents" has been published in Current Psychology journal (Q2).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ's study "The Efficacy of Finger Puppets, Distraction Cards, and Kaleidoscope for Reducing Anxiety in Children Undergoing Day Surgery" was published in the Journal of Pediatric Nursing (Q2).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ's research titled "Psychometric Properties of the Turkish CardioToxicity Management Self-Efficacy Scale for Nurses" has been published in Seminars in Oncology Nursing (Q1).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ also published her work "Development and Psychometric Analysis of a Pediatric Cancer Survivors Psychosocial Late Effects Scale (PCSLES)" in the Journal of Pediatric Nursing (Q2).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ's article "The Predictors of Objectified Body Consciousness Among Adolescents: Social Appearance Anxiety and Social Media Use" has been published in Archives of Psychiatric Nursing (Q1).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ has also published "The Predictive Power of Disease Management of Parents with Children with Cancer on Fatigue and Sleepiness Levels" in Current Psychology (Q2).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berrak MIZRAK ŞAHİN contributed to the study "Breastfeeding Experiences of Mothers Staying in Temporary Shelter Areas in Disaster-Affected Provinces in the 2023 Turkey Earthquake", published in the Journal of Human Lactation (Q2).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berrak MIZRAK ŞAHİN was a researcher in the study "Predicting Mothers' Exclusive Breastfeeding for the First 6 Months: Interface Creation Study Using Machine Learning Techniques", published in the Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice (Q2).

Dr. Eylül Gülnur ERDOĞAN, a faculty member of our department, has published "The Disaster Literacy Level of Society, Opinions on Disaster Management Services, and Related Factors: A Case from a Province in Turkey" in Public Health Nursing (Q2).

Dr. Eylül Gülnur ERDOĞAN's study "The Effect of Web-Designed Education on Medication Adherence, Asthma Control, and Fatigue in Patients with Asthma: A Randomized Controlled Trial" was published in International Journal of Nursing Practice (Q2).

Dr. Eylül Gülnur ERDOĞAN's research "Disaster Management Competence, Disaster Preparedness Belief, and Disaster Preparedness Relationship: Nurses After the 2023 Turkey Earthquake" has been published in International Nursing Review (Q1).

Dr. Elif Erbay Özdede's article "Motherhood Experiences of Nurses Receiving Postgraduate Education: A Phenomenological Research Study" has been published in Nurse Education Today (Q1).

Dr. Hülya SARAY KILIÇ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neşe MERCAN's research "The Relationship Between Cognitive Intrusion of Pain, Fear of Surgery, and Comfort" has been published in Pain Management Nursing (Q2).

Researcher Semanur Bilgiç, a faculty member from the Internal Medicine Nursing Department, has been selected for the "Culture, Language, and Diversity Working Group" of the COST Action CA22127 project, titled "Collaboratively Developed Culturally Appropriate and Inclusive Assessment Tool for Palliative Care Education". We congratulate her and wish her continued success.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı AKDENİZ KUDUBEŞ is the principal investigator, and Lecturer Fulya Merve KOS is a researcher in the TÜSEB A Group Emergency Research Project titled "The Effect of Multisensory Stimulation on Postoperative Pain, Physiological Parameters, and Fear in Children Undergoing Surgery: A Randomized Controlled Study". The project (no. 38278) has been approved for 12-month funding by TÜSEB.

Dr. Aysun ACUN's research titled "The Effect of Flipped Learning on Nursing Students' Asepsis Knowledge and Learning Skills: A Randomized Controlled Study" has been published in Nurse Education in Practice (Q1).

Bilecik Chess Provincial Representative's 2024 activity program included the Four-Year Chess Tournament, held on February 29, 2024. In this tournament, Lecturer Cumhur Babaoğlu from our department won first place. We congratulate him and wish him continued success.

Lecturer Fulya Merve KOS was a researcher in the TÜBİTAK 1002 Fast Support project titled "The Effect of a Web-Based Epilepsy Education Program for Teachers on Teachers' Knowledge, Attitudes, and Self-Management", led by Prof. Dr. Murat BEKTAŞ from Dokuz Eylül University. The project has been granted 75,000 TL in funding from TÜBİTAK.

In the 100th Year Sports Games held at our university, Halit Acar (student) and Lecturer Cumhur Babaoğlu (faculty member) won first place in the Chess Tournament. We congratulate them and wish them continued success.
