Academics from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV), the oldest and largest higher agricultural education institution in Romania, established in 1852, visited our Faculty. The visit was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vitor Tita, Faculty Manager from the Faculty of Management and Rural Development, along with Dr. Denisa Fulgeanu, Dr. Cristiana Buzatu, Dr. Irina-Adriana Chiurciu, and Dr. Ion Certan.

The academics from Romania held meetings with our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Bahadır Sayıncı and faculty members from various departments. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tufan Can Ulu, the Head of the Department of Plant Protection, introduced the visiting academics to the laboratory facilities of our University.

During the visit, an event was organized for the visiting Romanian academics, with the participation of our Faculty students and academic staff. During the event, the guest academics gave presentations on their universities and research topics. Information was also shared on potential joint collaborations and projects that could be undertaken by students and academics.
