Our Department's Research Assistant Dr. Bahadır DİNÇ Held the Erasmus Event

Dr. Bahadır DİNÇ, a faculty member from our department and Research Assistant, represented our university at the Katholische Hochschule Nordrhein-Westfalen (KatHo NRW) in Cologne, Germany, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program during the 2024-2025 Spring Semester. The faculty member reported on the visit. Click here to access the related news.

Prof. Dr. Johannes Krell from the KatHo Nursing Department accompanied the faculty member during the academic staff movement, which took place from April 5-11, 2025. During this period, our professor inspected simulation laboratories, attended lectures as a guest, met with academic and administrative staff and students, and shared information about Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University. He also examined and visited cultural sites in Cologne and observed daily life.

It was announced that our professor will present a presentation, including visual materials and information gathered from his visits and contacts, to staff and students at an event to be held at the faculty. Our staff expressed his views on the visit, which he carried out as part of the Erasmus+ program, as follows:

Exchange programs like Erasmus+ introduce and develop an individual's culture, values, and individual discipline to other countries on a micro scale, while also introducing the characteristics, values, and vision of the institution and country where they work on a macro scale. Therefore, I made it my mission to promote Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University and Turkey, which I represent, in the most accurate way possible, and I brought the necessary tools and information with me. I made sure to act with this mission in every action I took and every word I spoke in Germany and KatHo, where I was a guest. I explained the topic "Elderly and Disabled Care in Turkey" and my perspective on the subject in German, sharing information about my country. Upon my return, I brought with me the information I learned there, my observations, and a wealth of visual materials about my university and country. I will strive to share this knowledge with as many students and staff as I can. I aim to ensure the continuity of this connection I have established, including the staff and students of our faculty. Finally, I believe that supporting similar exchange programs, and particularly encouraging them for staff at the beginning of their working lives, is crucial in the current world. I believe it is valuable to be a part of his vision.”

We congratulate our professor on his work within the scope of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility and wish him continued success.
