Information about the Türkiye Cyber Homeland Program 2027 Application Period

The Turkey Cyber Homeland Program, implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Presidency of Defence Industries, and in collaboration with development agencies, has opened applications for its 2027 period.

The program, which aims to train qualified human resources in the field of cybersecurity, is open to all university students in its 2027 period with its new AI-supported model.

2027 Period Application Process

The program will be open to university students from all provinces of Turkey. Applicants will participate in an online training process lasting approximately three months. During this phase, basic cybersecurity competencies will be acquired, and students eligible for face-to-face training will be determined.

Students who successfully complete the online training will be invited to face-to-face technical training sessions to be held within the BEBKA (Bursa, Eskişehir, or Bilecik) activity region. During the application process, students must select the Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency that covers the province where their university is located. Participation in face-to-face training sessions in a different agency region will not be possible.

The province where the face-to-face training will be held will be announced by BEBKA. Transportation and accommodation expenses for students who qualify to participate in the trainings will be covered by our Agency.

The face-to-face trainings will consist of two main parts:

Penetration Testing Training
Artificial Intelligence Applications in Cybersecurity Training
Following the trainings, students will participate in the Capture The Flag (CTF) competition with the artificial intelligence models they have developed. This stage will measure both technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, and the goal is for the students' developed artificial intelligence models to compete against each other.

The most successful students in the program will be invited to the 7-day Cyber Homeland BootCamp event. The BootCamp will include advanced technical trainings, team work, and meetings with industry stakeholders. Students who successfully complete all stages will be able to join Cyber Homeland teams according to their abilities.

In addition to technical trainings, the program will also include technical trips, mentor-apprentice meetings, conferences, collaborations with mentor companies, and team activities.
