In the evolving global competitive environment, the need for qualified and well-equipped engineers, trained to meet the demands of the era, is steadily increasing. Industrial Engineering is a field that provides services related to the design, improvement, and establishment of integrated systems consisting of human resources, machinery, information technology, hardware, and energy, as well as new resources, production methods, optimal operation of existing industrial facilities, and logistics planning. With the development of industry both globally and in our country, the demand for Industrial Engineering has also increased.

Our department has a student quota of 21, as stated in the 2026 YKS (University Entrance Examination) preference guide. Student admissions will be active starting from the 2026-2027 academic year. Our department has a total of 4 faculty members, each an expert in their field, with the titles of 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, and 1 Assistant Professor. Our faculty members' areas of expertise include: The curriculum includes subjects with diverse application areas such as operations research, statistics, basic production processes, statistical quality control, multi-criteria decision making, ergonomics, management information systems, fuzzy logic, management and organization, occupational health and safety, environment, and energy. In addition to fundamental engineering courses and other theoretical courses focused on the design of engineering processes, our department aims to be a leader in applied education, and its infrastructure is continuously improved to achieve this goal. Furthermore, it is planned that the Computer Laboratory and Central Research Laboratory located within Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University will be effectively utilized by our department for scientific and academic studies. Within the framework of the importance given to applied education, a mandatory internship of at least 40 working days in the fields of production and management is required as a graduation requirement, and students are also expected to receive business education in their final semester before graduation through the 7+1 education model. Some of the sectors operating in the field of Industrial Engineering that graduates can target for employment with the qualified education they receive at the end of 4 years are as follows: Manufacturing Sector, Machinery Manufacturing Industry, Energy Materials, R&D Centers, Automotive Sector, Human Resources Sector, Quality Control Sector, Aviation Sector, Education Sector.
