As part of the National Afforestation Day on 11 November, an environmental awareness event was held at our Vocational School. The activity was organized by the Social Security and Awareness Club and coordinated by Lecturer Yavuz Koç. With the participation of our academic staff and students, club members planted saplings in the school garden to promote environmental sensitivity and strengthen social responsibility awareness. The saplings used in the event were provided by the Söğüt Municipality, and our students left a lasting mark on nature by planting their saplings with their own hands. Lecturer Yavuz Koç emphasized that the purpose of the event was not only to plant saplings, stating, “Nature is our common home. Every student should have a tree, and every tree should have a story.” The administration of our Vocational School announced that the Social Security and Awareness Club will continue to organize similar activities throughout the year to promote social awareness.
