Türkiye Eğitim Gönüllüleri Vakfı (TEGV) Volunteer Specialist Ceyda Can and TEGV Volunteer/Instructor Ezgi Zengin met with our students as part of the Volunteering Studies course. During the event, conducted by Lecturer Dilvin Arpa, valuable insights were shared on the importance of volunteerism and the activities carried out by TEGV. It was emphasized that volunteering is not merely an act of helping, but a meaningful value that reveals the human side of empathy, contributes to personal development, and strengthens society.
Our guests highlighted that volunteering begins with a heartfelt sense of responsibility and that anyone who wishes to change the world can take the first step by becoming a volunteer. Through examples demonstrating how even a small act of kindness can lead to significant change, strong awareness was created among our students. The event continued with a Q&A session, and at the end, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the representatives of Türkiye Eğitim Gönüllüleri Vakfı in recognition of their valuable contributions.
