In cooperation with the Career Center Coordination and the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, the Cement Process and Production Quality Applied Seminar and Technical Tour was held at Safi Cement Production Facilities on May 21, 2024.

The event, which was attended by the students of the Civil Engineering Department, was attended by the Career Center Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. H.Tezcan UYSAL, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Faculty Member, Dr. Lecturer Hasan BOZKURT, Assistant Coordinators Dr. Lecturer Hacer TAŞKIRAN TEPE, Res. Asst. Ebrar ULUSİNAN ÇUBUKÇI and Civil Engineering Department Member, Res. Asst. Nazım Çağatay DEMİRAL.

In the seminar held in the Occupational Health and Safety Department, experts shared information about processes and production with the students. Then, a presentation was made on the Occupational Health and Safety rules that must be followed in cement production facilities. After the seminar, a field tour was held with the production managers so that the students could get to know the cement processes expressed theoretically in the field. The event ended after Safi Cement Company served lunch to our students.
