The mission of the Chemistry Department is to train scientifically minded, creative potential researchers and practitioners in line with the needs and development of chemical science and industry. In addition, to use the knowledge gained in solving the problems of industrial organizations operating nationally and regionally and to conduct research and publications in various fields of chemistry.

Our Vision

To have a highly qualified and principled faculty member staff and contemporary infrastructure and equipment that do not compromise on quality not only domestically but also on international platforms, to train highly qualified and ambitious students who are open to competition on every platform with these opportunities and to place our graduates in the top ranks of the most preferred group.

To focus on research topics related to important problems of our country and the world in the field of chemistry, to be a department that can be accredited by international accredited institutions that contribute to national and universal development with the education, training, knowledge and technology it will produce in national and international environments.

The chemistry department, which trains chemists who can conduct basic and applied research at an advanced technological level in modern conditions and who can independently solve scientific and technological problems, provides its students with the ability to understand and comprehend the composition, structure, properties and changes of natural and artificial materials. The basic courses in the department provide students with a broad perspective.
