The activities of BİKAM are as follows:
a) To develop strategies, projects, programs, and organizational proposals for enhancing the career planning of university students and graduates in collaboration with the university’s academic units, centers, and coordinators; to present these proposals to the Rectorate; and to coordinate and control the activities related to the implementation of the approved proposals.
b) To provide career counseling services necessary to identify the personal potential, characteristics, skills, orientations, and expectations of university students and graduates regarding career planning and development, and to facilitate the enhancement of job search behaviors and processes.
c) To plan, organize, or support activities and organizations such as career days, career fairs, scientific events, and competitions in cooperation and coordination with student clubs, the student council, and units organizing career activities.
ç) To support the implementation of projects and programs that provide resources for career development activities in cooperation with relevant private and public institutions and organizations.
d) To monitor the career development of graduates in the job market and to update related information.
e) To create and operate a BİKAM database related to students, graduates, and employers for use in internships and other educational and career development activities.
f) To produce promotional and informative written and visual publications in line with BİKAM’s goals and areas of activity.
g) To carry out activities aimed at developing a social network in line with career development.
ğ) To create and develop voluntary and mandatory job/internship opportunities by bridging the university with public and private sectors and to conduct activities to prepare students for the work environment.
h) To organize, support, and participate in promotional activities for the university.
ı) To organize social activities that ensure university graduates maintain close relationships and solidarity in their post-university lives.
i) To apply necessary tests and techniques to support university students in their career planning, and to outline a roadmap for students based on the results.
j) To guide students towards graduate education, teaching, and research activities.
k) To strengthen and develop the social responsibility awareness and social and human capital of the university's students and graduates by collaborating with public institutions and organizations as well as civil society organizations.
